I’ve had the privilege of helping to shape Fintech South since 2018, the first of two years the event was held at Mercedes Benz Stadium, and I’ve since watched it grow into one of the most transformative fintech gatherings in the Southeast—and increasingly, on a national scale. Over the past two years, we’ve hosted the event at another amazing venue, the Woodruff Arts Center, with main stage sessions in Atlanta Symphony Hall. This beautiful space brings together founders, investors, regulators, and innovators in an environment alive with energy and possibility. But regardless of the venue, the focus remains the same: turning connections into action and ideas into real-world innovations.
Fintech South matters because its engaged community and intimate setting are a powerful catalyst for learning, networking, and business building. Startups gain visibility and access to funding through the annual Innovation Challenge program, investors discover the next wave of opportunities, and policymakers and industry leaders share and gather insights that influence the future of financial services. Every panel, pitch, and networking session is curated to spark collaboration, fuel innovation, and create tangible outcomes.
The Atlanta fintech community is at the heart of what makes Fintech South so impactful. Georgia-based payments companies process more than 70% of all U.S. card transactions, powering a dynamic fintech ecosystem and earning the region the nickname “Transaction Alley.” Beyond the infrastructure, the community contributes a vibrant and diverse mix of ideas, talent, and energy that drives innovation across every aspect of the conference. There is no better place than the ATL to connect people, spark collaboration, and turn innovation into results.
Fintech South isn’t just a conference—it’s a catalyst for the future of finance on a global scale. Fintech South is based in the South—and we celebrate the fintech innovation in the region—but it’s not just about the South. Our community continues to expand to include leaders from fintech hubs across the country and around the globe – San Francisco, New York, Austin, Charlotte, Miami, London, Toronto, and more.
As the event’s Head of Content for almost a decade, I’ve seen firsthand how participation at Fintech South accelerates collaboration, fuels innovation, and connects the people, ideas, and resources that drive the fintech industry forward. From the keynotes on the main stage in Atlanta Symphony Hall to the curated networking sessions that spark lasting relationships, Fintech South creates an environment where innovation thrives and attendees turn conversations into impact.
But the future of finance is just 1% built, and at Fintech South we’re just getting started. I’m excited to continue to grow our community and enhance the Fintech South experience for 2026 and beyond. We want to hear your ideas. Let’s talk about how to take it to the next level.
What topics and speakers would you like to see on the agenda? How can we help you achieve your goals for learning, networking, and business building? How can we increase your ROI as a sponsor and attendee? How can we provide a more impactful, enjoyable and productive event experience?
Tell your fintech friends about what a special thing we have going in Atlanta. Let’s not keep it a secret. Fintech is definitely a team sport. And we can’t wait to see you at Fintech South 2026!
